We don't need to import people to work at car washes. These are jobs that can and are be done by American high school or college students. This isn't a proverbial "job Americans won't do." Sounds like a shady business owner trying to undercut American workers with cheap illegal labor.

BTW if you're actually a legal guest worker you should always have your legal documentation with you when you're at work, that's the whole point of said documentation. Just like you should carry your driver's license when you drive a car.

Americans don’t want car wash jobs for their kids. They want their car washed cheaply, and they want their kid to go to a good college like Boston University. And if their kid is a runner, they want him to be able to join the track team and have that experience as well.

But thanks to roster limits, those D1 walk-on track team spots are becoming vanishingly rare. And here we have this foreigner with middling times taking both of those things from Americans!

And you're completely ignoring that this raid was 100% illegal and unconstitutional. But who's going to enforce the constitution these days? The only ones trying are federal judges, but those decisions just get ignored or overturned by the Supreme Court shadow docket.

Sure they do, if they're in HS or college working part time. I did it when I was in HS (barely a decade ago) and I just went to the car wash the other day and it was a bunch of local kids working there. STFU with that nonsense

The liberals at BU will have this kid swimming back to the UK before the next social injustice pep rally.

The logic is honestly rich as couldn't you say he's stealing a scholarship (if he is he'd be stealing it for the times he's producing), but at very least taking a roster spot from an American kid who certainly could use it. That is much more desirable thing than working at the car wash.

He appears to be a dual citizen, according to X. If he were not a US Citizen, he wouldn't be allowed to engage in political activity.

If you're arrested but legal you'll be released. Okay. But why arrest them instead of letting them go to their lockers and get their documentation?
