A week ago, ICE raided a car wash in Allston with a dozen vehicles including an armored car, detaining nine employees.
Turns out, most of them had legal status, but weren't allowed to retrieve their documents if they weren't on their person. None had criminal records other than a couple had entered the country illegally. They've all been detained, no access to lawyers, no warrants, the raid was all based on racial profiling - you know, the usual ICE stuff these days.
Now president of the BU College Republicans and member of the track team Zac Segal is boasting that he'd been calling ICE for months to raid the place, based on his racial profiling hunch. He's actually pissed they didn't act sooner.
He even had the gall to write this, as if he wasn't just some itinerant student meddling in locals' affairs: “As someone who lives in the neighborhood, I’ve seen how American jobs are being given away to those with no right to be here.”
The kicker? This loser is from England!
