I know that this is a slightly different topic than the usuals, but with the demise of the University of Vermont track team, their legendary long jump record is ending. Way back in 1912 Albert Gutterson launched a 7.60/24-11 and it remained the record to the last day of UVermont's team.
Another old record is Harvard's long jump, held by Ned Gourdin in 1921 (25-1, I think).
Folks of track knowledge, any ones older ?
(this is not a loaded question)
