lots of pontificating about training and spirituality, and in this most recent episode he takes some shots at des linden. jay asks him about her boston comment and he thought they were referring to the comment she made that she was telling herself "dont be a b1tch a$."

then he goes on to say that she was never really in the race, she wasn't a factor, etc.

if he's taking shots at des, doesn't he realize he's also insulting his WIFE, who finished AFTER des (and whose resume is awesome, but doesn't begin to compare to des's).

he also said that lenny korir invented the super shoe.

Des has not run a pb for any distance since 2011. That was 14 years ago. She knows in her heart that 2018 Boston Marathon was won by the weather. She hates when it’s brought up and that her barely sub 2:40 win was the slowest in 50 years.

Des has continued to compete since 2018 for 2 reasons. 1. Paydays. 2. To try to prove that 2018 wasn’t a fluke. Money can’t change that.

Don’t be silly. She won in her typically sub elite time because literally everyone else dropped out due to the cold and rain. Quite literally a perfect storm. And as proof she hasn’t even been a contender since.
