Hi, no pretty flat with a couple of gentle undulations
No wind either which helped a bit maybe
You may have measured a 1K or misused the online tool. Do it on a track. Someone with a 4:24 mile out of no specific training should be breaking 1:10 in the half.
A 1k would make sense. 1:32 HM is weekly recovery long run pace for a 4:24 miler, even if he's a sprinter running 15 mpw it still wouldn't match up.

1k doesn’t match either. If he can run a 1:32 HM then he’d be able to run much quicker than 4:32 in an all out 1k. Most likely just trolling.
If you have that kind of talent you would have been approached by a distance coach to join the XC team when you were in middle school. What’s your story?
I was a good quality rollerskating teacher for 15 years.
Never ran.
Turned 38 last month.
I do eat clean and do Kettlebell also
3/10
nowhere near believable, but these are some hilarious qualifiers.
Started running last year to do a couple of charity half-marathons. First was 1:40. I improved on the second one with a 1:32.
I've never done any speedwork, just easy runs, and one progression run a week.
Weekly mileage tops out at 30mpw.
I've never done any runs under 5/6 miles.
Today, out of sheer curiosity I ran a flat out mile and was pretty stunned to record a 4:24 mile.
Is this good? Could I potentially have some talent at lesser distances?
Oh yah I will be 60 in 12 days and in 1991 at age 26 I ran 53:55 for 10 mile hilly course 5:23 pace. Just yesterday I ran the same hilly course 10 miles in 49:59. Do I have potential? LOL
The only way it could make sense is if the OP has untapped talent to be one of the greatest 400m runners in history. I could see an elite 400m runner running that time for a mile off natural speed, and minimal endurance training. Also a 400m specialist would suck at the half Mary, so 1:32 is realistic. The OP needs to try 200m, 400m and 800m. We could literally be looking at the next Peter Smell
