Apologies for the delayed response, I've been a bit out of touch recently. I just caught up on this thread and I am beyond excited to hear that Brosnan will be back in action! He is, without a doubt, one of the greatest coaches out there, and having him lead a professional team is just awesome news. Looking forward to seeing him work his magic with the group. I figured he’d have something up his sleeve after his book deal. Cheers!
Who cares where she decides to run post-college, or if she even chooses to continue running at all? Given that she is from California, returning home might be a more suitable option for her compared to Eugene. Furthermore, Mia has yet to make a final at NCAAs, indicating she may not be in high demand as a top recruit for professional groups. Let's face facts - she isn't exceptionally fast in the 800 or 5k. While I do wish her well, it should ultimately be her decision where and with which coach she chooses to run.
remember the kind of people that frequent or posts this platform - typically individuals who may not be the most respectful or successful. Unfortunately, there are often unsettling losers who lack success in their personal and professional lives. Given those facts, it comes as no surprise that they might fixate on and inappropriately focus their attention on a college girl. So as I agree that you who give a f@ck, it’s creepy LR. Nothing anyone can do.

Saying “typically” saved yourself from self inflicted insults. That being cleared up I agree
Sean Brosnan’s return to coaching has me beyond stoked, especially with his new pro distance running group firing up in Big Bear! Rumor has it he’s recruiting some absolute beasts—freshly graduated college runners with legs like rockets and lungs built for altitude. No confirmed names, but whispers hint at a few NCAA standouts who’ve been tearing up the 5K and 10K, ready to join his Skechers-backed squad. These mystery speedsters are about to make waves, leaving only cryptic Strava breadcrumbs for now
Because Mammoth is mostly roads. The trails are single track and rocky and roads behind the track are rocky and not good. I can see cyclists on the roads for sure
Handler is better known as Brenda Martinez's husband, he was just a local runner with no success. I do not know if he has a degree or any coaching certs. The bio on the webpage is sparse so I do not think he has any credentials at all, otherwise they would state it. If I was a new pro fresh out of college I would not move to Big Bear and put my future in Handler or Brosnan's hands. Big Bear does not have any real job market either so these new pros better be making real money because it is very expensive to live there. I am not sure if this post is legit but we will see soon enough.
Handler? I wouldn’t call a guy just on his own 20 years ago running a 29-min 10k unsuccessful.
Big Bear is a poor community, but the high-priced vacation rentals taking over have made housing difficult for transplants.
