- some people wondering why other witnesses were not spoken to.
- an anonymous user claiming to be Kerley peddling the "I was arrested for being silent" story.
- political opportinists trashing Florida.
Look, this is simple.
Florida is a mandatory arrest state for domestic violence.
So is California, and other blue states including Oregon, Washington, and Colorado.
This means that if an officer has probable cause to believe that domestic battery has taken place, the officer must make an arrest.
No other witnesses are required.
If Kerley had made a statement, perhaps he could have removed the probable causebut he chose not to.
Officer(s) were left with the accuser's statement, and that is sufficient.
Isn't this what lefties wanted?
