I appreciate the Diamond league and hope they continue to have success but any positive exposure and opportunity for track to shine is all good! I love the idea of building rivalries for most races that’s true. No true athlete can stand to keep losing to anyone and the intense competition for pride and decent money is great. Reminds me of high school and college and most people understand competition! Times have been good
In America, we love rivalries whether it’s NBA, NFL,CFB that is what I believe is part of what GST is trying to achieve and with the right exposure and with truly interesting personalities whether villan, dominant, somewhat controversial and high lights on ESPN, fox sports etc the sport can grow and growth is good for everyone who loves competition. Track doesn’t need a monopoly, competition is good thus GST is great! I don’t want to see one person chase a rabbit.. some of those same record holders can’t win a strategical race. If GST athletes are careful not to peak to soon they will be dangerous racers! The times ran have been excellent with out rabbits! Love the competition and true athletes can’t be successful without it

To put Sydney’s 52.07 in context, only three other women in history have ever run faster.
Fun parallel. Every time Mondo jumps 6.08m or higher, only two other men have ever jumped higher.
I liked the wrap up interview they did with Kerr. GST has a few innovative things going for it. It's not perfect by any means, and sure there are things that can be improved which would make it only better. But I like what I have seen thus far.
I saw reports that SML will be running the 100M/100MH next session. I look forward to it.
