The Kandie Man goes down! Yet Kiplimo is ONE MINUTE faster and clean? C'mon!
yeah bc Kiplimo hasn’t tested positive. Grant Fisher had a teammate test positive not long before he came 5th at the Olympics out of nowhere, and tied Kiplimo’s 26:33 pb the next year. He also just shattered the indoor 5k record, and out kicked the reigning 1500m champ to set a 3k wr. And Fisher’s teammate tested positive (and his coach had a lousy excuse), not just his countryman.
Kiplimo is just really good, as is Fisher. Both have 2 bronze medals, 26:33 pbs, 7:26/7:23i, 12:40/12:44i, and I’m sure Fisher could throw down a nasty half. Fisher won his first NCAA title in 2017, Kiplimo won WJXC in 2017. They’ve both been great for a long time. No reason to think they’re doping any more than any other top runner, except “They ran so fast that I don’t think it’s possible to do it clean”.
