Our volunteer moderators have deleted a lot of posts insinuating that she died because of the Covid-19 vaccination. There are a ton of possibilities as to the cause of death but going down that rabbit whole isn't going to happen in this thread particularly when there we have no idea if she was vaccinated or not.
Same thing happened to a guy on my HS basketball team in 2013.
Did they determine cause of death?
An undetected cardiac issue that would only have been diagnosed with extensive testing. It killed this 17 year old but might have saved his younger brother who apparently had a similar condition.
Happened to a college freshman runner I knew. Passed anyway at 19 as well, sudden cardiac attack in his sleep. Sad, everyday is a blessing.
I still remember when I was in college about 200 million years ago when I found out that multi-time NCAA Champ David Kimani had died in the university cafeteria while eating lunch.
This most commonly occurs, as someone said above, among people with undiagnosed heart conditions, sometimes congenital. I know of a kid, about twelve years old at the time, who was watching a baseball game, ran to pick up a foul ball, and dropped dead.
For some heart conditions, "the most common symptom is sudden death."
