And in Casey’s first season as a true freshman he became a first team All American.
This is Rocky’s 5th season. Cope
Casey its a joke. Are you excited to compete with your kid at BYU in a couple years? First parent+child duo on the same NCAA team I believe. Side note: It's Caseys 13th season and he still has ZERO NCAA titles. Cope
I’m spitting facts, you come back at me with two falsehoods.
Casey does have an NCAA title, he lead his team to that just this fall.
Citius Mag tweeted that he finished 7th in 7.67 m which was his last jump but now shows as a foul. WA deems them illegal for jumps not for track events. Only 1 point swing but could loom large in the team race.
Pulling double duty 😮💨
Johnny Brackins of @USC_Track_Field had a busy first day of #NCAATF, flipping back and forth between the long jump runway, where he finished 7th in 7.67m, to the straightaway, where he led all 60m hurdles qualifiers into the finals in 7.53. pic.twitter.com/q9sZTZKpZW

Looked to me like he finished the hurdles, went over to the LJ to talk to the official, and the official then said he didn't have time to switch spikes and had to jump immediately.
Terrible tactics for ayyildiz. Really choppy race overall, i thought foerster should be dq’d at first for aggressively shoving appleton which i think affected her race, but when i rewatched riggins had shoved her like a pinball and she was forced into appleton. Dirty racing by riggins again

another smart race by Congdon - just hung on the rail ahead of all the bumping and pushing behind her and hung on. reminded me of her Olympic trials, you kinda forget she's even there for most of the race.
I didn't see that swift 28.51 close from Scatchard coming. Nielsen too strong for the field, w/ an assist from Silan. Dunno what happened to Appleton.
Poster above has it, Appleton got pinballed hard in the aftermath of a dicey move by Riggins. That close was impressive, I thought Congdon was pretty safe, she ran a very good race. I wish Nielsen was running the 1500 at World Indoors. Don’t think she’s as competitive in the 800.
EDIT: Congdon was the only American in the top 5
