Farken was third during the race and then somehow did not have the stamina.
last week he ran his first ever sub3:50 with a 3:49.45, a week later he follows it up with a 3:49.93 and you’re, what? disappointed he didn’t stick with a WR?
Yared Nuguse never really showed this potential in college. I’m surprised he’s made an impact this big on the pro scene. Skeptical of what may have changed after college for him but frankly I’m sure everyone is on something at that elite level that’s a bit of the grey area rules wise.

No, it was really good. 1500 m was again German record.
lowkey havent seen much out of this crew besides Nuguse and Beamish. Expecting more out of Klecker. Unc may be rolled.
This has got to be a troll job.

Everyone seems so quick to **** on OAC on these message boards. Monson, Hoare, Norris and Klecker have been heavily effected by injuries but athletes are putting out PR's and NR's whilst navigating injuries and prior to 2024 this was one of (if not the) most dominant track team around. Compare that to so many other teams who are either struggling or folded completely and it's a joke how much abuse OAC gets. Looking at the above results it's a no brainer why On chose to renew the team.
iMile WR for Nuguse the other week 3s Mile PR for Sinta tonight (4:24->4:21) 3s Mile PR for Maia tonight (4:24->4:21)
#rolled
Nuguse going for the WR again shortly, Josette running the 5000 too
Ok, but surely the goal for them both was to hit the world championship standard especially after running 7:30 at millrose.
Yes, not bad performances but didnt hit the goal. Also they both beat Teare who ran 12:57 so that was probably a time that was thought to be attainable.

I’m sure that was their goal, but despite missing it they still ran really good races and prs. As has been said elsewhere in this thread, for some reason posters have impossible standards for OAC where anything short of constant great races means they are “rolled.”
To play devils advocate, Maia Ramsden didn't make the 1500m final and she did last year while at Harvard.
i know i know, Maia and Sinta both had bad races. Idek if it was fitness, just both really lacking assertiveness/tactics in their respective heats, it was very frustrating to watch

I think they’re already burned out. Ritz has them peak too early. I don’t see the rest of the races in outdoor being any better for all those On women. They do well indoor on fast tracks when there is no strategy and tactics involved. Time trial queens
Seriously? Jacob’s literally has been coached by Ritz for just several months. OAC does not take credit for this one just because he’s wearing their uniform. Kudos to Sean Carlson!

They’re talking about Ky Robinson, Jacobs got fifth.

This indoor season can they be accused of peaking too early? They really struggled early in the season before a solid race at BU. But yes both were off yesterday.
