Having experienced police brutality myself,
I can say that one must:
Fight fight fight legally. Obtain legal counsel and look at the evidence they have on you.
Look at what is legit evidence and what is BS.
Do not allow them to withhold footage from you. They have their narrative they want to protect. It is one side of the story.
Don't fight what you can't deny but fight when they have a weak case.
Interestingly, the cop resigned weeks after I faced a charge and was later criminally charged,
the police chief resigned about 6 weeks ago (I believe I may have contributed to this)
and the prosecutor in my case is now 'retired' according to Linked in, just a week after I sent them a thorough message.
