No question there needs to be a more efficient way to do things and there's a ton of waste. Putting these two clowns in charge is not only an extreme conflict of interest, but their thoughts on deregulation will set this country back into the 1960's. Both are already overstepping their bounds

I'm not sure how DOGE will work. Congress writes and votes on the budget. The president approves or vetos. Lets say Trump & Musk want to lower the budget from 7 trillion to 5 trillion. What if congress refuses to adjust the budget that low? Trump has to sign something. He can't just not let the government get funded. Or is it a situation where Trump will approve $7 trillion but then just not spend $2 trillion of it? I guess they're hoping Congress will do whatever Trump wants, but a lot of government spending is in red areas. It's easy to say we should cut government spending until that means cutting spending in your district.

Exactly this. Which is why it's a big mistake to put a timeline and a dollar amount on this. Like honestly what knowledge does Elon or ramadingdong have of what the government does and how 2t could get cut? Where did that number come from?

Almost all the wording DOGE uses to get Americans to hate Federal workers are wrong or at the very least misleading. Here are some of the milder comments.
“We need Government workers to get back to work”
“Almost xx% of Government workers don’t come to work at all”
“The federal government has expanded to bloated levels in the last 50 years “
“There is no accountability for Federal workers “
But this is how MAG6 works. Create enemies so Trump can fight for you. Problem is, almost everyone becomes an enemy at some point.
