There’s a difference between knowing of someone compared to knowing them. I assumed she had seen stuff of him and probably ran into him at the World Champs in Eugene or Paris. But given that she’s usually in the UK/South Africa year round and he stays in Utah/Arizona most of the time I woulda thought they were just acquaintances like 90%+ of Olympians.

Nothing to see here. On Hodgkinson's story, Fisher was off in the background and they weren't interacting. Later in the story she states "couple days of shooting complete." They're both Nike athletes, no? Later in the story she is with Erin Wallace, another Nike athlete from the UK. Rather than speculate, put two & two together. They were there doing promotional work for Nike.

There's nothing there, really. These are athletes that Nike sponsors and they're just doing promotional stuff. Athletes get money from sponsorships so there are so obligations that they need to fulfill. The OP is just trying to create a story where there isn't one. That's nothing new on this forum.
