I've been on Facebook Marketplace. Got a pair of Endorphin Elites for $200 and a pair of Asic Kayano 31s for $50!

I am getting my shoes wherever I can now before Trump's tarrifs drive up prices so much that I can't afford shoes anymore.
I have bought over 15 pairs of Boston 6/7s all for under 40$ over the years. It's great.
Please explain how the climate in the average warehouse harms shoes (degrades the midsole foam or ?). And please explain how we should be storing shoes at home so shoes last longer.
I believe it is a given you do not want to store shoes where they will be exposed to high temperatures, direct sunlight, certain solvents, toxic gases, moisture, etc. I do not believe shoes are exposed to any of these in an average warehouse.
Midsole foams will degrade with age, and there is not much that can be done to stop that process.
A few friends have ordered off StockX and been pleased. I havent ordered from them personally.
Duh!, Ghosts are fake!
I buy older models on ebay all the time and agree that clear sole pics are critical. I won't buy anything more than a few years old, or with more than a tiny bit of wear on the texture/pattern imprinted on the lugs. I've never bought a bad pair with these rules.
I also usually narrow down to condition = used. You'll likely find a lot of returns with only a handful of miles of them, that were sold in bulk by the store to another party to liquidate.
No Tiger X Caliber GT or Nike Tailwind or Mariah? 😂
I've bought quite a few shoes off Ebay, even used ones. They have photos of the exact pair you're buying and the first thing I look at is the tread. If it's worn down at all I don't buy them but they usually aren't. I've gotten lots of used shoes that were evidently worn very little as they look like brand new.
Well the shoes arrived in absolutely pristine condition... brand spanking new and still even had most of the "new shoe smell" to them. Did not run in them yet but walking around my basement, they felt exactly how my other pairs of Novablast 2s felt like when new.
Now if only Asics would go back to the magic of the Novablast 1/2 and stop f****g up great shoes. The 4 was a disaster!
I sell used and new shoes on eBay. It’s a great way to get good deals. Make sure to look for sellers who are accepting Best Offer and shoot them an offer, many will accept if it’s reasonable!
