Anyone see where Sell is? Anywhere near the lead pack?
Just saw him around 5k. He's about 30ft back.

53 degrees with a wind from the north at 4 mph.. they're saying the temps should drop into the 40's as they approach downtown.
High 40s, low 50s with ~ 10-15 mph wind.
No mention of Sell yet. Still a big pack at 3 miles (no split given...they were doing a sidepiece on Meb) with Yuda back out front.
Meb and Alan both have gloves and tobogans on.
Why is Yuda doing these surges so early?
Just saw an update: 15:21 at 3 miles.
I dont think they do.
They may want to ditch the sleds before heartbreak. Unless they plan on using them for the downhills.

15:21 for 5k and not 3 miles
I see 15:23 for 5k split. That's 2:10:07 pace.
Seven women lead the way through 9 miles in just over 49:30.

A tobogan is a hat.
so 10:07 at 2 and 15:21 at 5k? that's a quick 3rd mile.
Men 5 miles in 24:25 or so.
About 12 men in the lead pack, including Meb and Culp. Just hit the five mile mark in about 24:30.
Michael Wardian hits 5K in 16:57 (2:23:13 pace). Not too shabby for his weekly marathon.
A toboggan is not a hat. Maybe you are thinking of "toque."
