1:09 seems a little too hot for Keira. I’d rather her run 1:10-1:10:30 first half and then open up if she is feeling good. I imagine that is what Bates will do.

Just looked up her progression. Holy molly. That’s a doper if I’ve ever seen one. It’s almost laughable looking at the keep

What’s the American womens half marathon record
66:25 for Weini Kelati.
65:30 =
10 mile pace is 50:00: American record 50:52
15km pace is 46:34: American record 47:00
12km pace is 37:15: American record 37:50
10km pace is 31:03: American record is 30:52
8km pace is 24:50: American record is 24:36
Let’s see if she splits faster than American record at 8km and 10km

If you look at this Kebede’s progression, it is absolutely suspicious. It could be legitimate but it is unusual.
To the gills!
Someome had to say it.
Centro 69 means D'Amato is certainly at least thinking about that AR.........
Will be interesting to see whether Albertson and Panning go for it and tuck behind Al Aaraby or stay conservative and tuck behind Bienenfeld
Feel like 64:00 would have been ideal for them.
I thought you were talking sub 2? What the hell man?
I don’t care about sub 2:10. It’s been done for over 40 years.
I legitimately thought you insinuated a human requested to break the 2:00:35 record.
remember when 2:11:43 would win the Olympic trials?

This sounds like something Rojo wrote. Can anyone translate?

at 29 years she's what?, 1 1/2 miles of 2 miles better in the marathon than at natural peak years?? of 22 to 25 years old.
how about I am a 212 marathoner for my peak years, running every year,
then bust a world record 2"00.00. hitting 30 years old.
how about being a singles hitter till age 30, then hit 70 home runs.
how about running 10.5 in the 100m till age 30, then set the world record.
how about .... Rojo not give press and enable this kind of crap.
how about that?

I ran my marathon pr at 40. And for more elite level relevance consider Carlos Lopes, Olympic Marathon vicory at 37, World Record at 38.
What a dope performance today!

How many American men can run sub 2:10? 5-7?

Lopes was WR at 10K, OG medalist, multiple World cross country champion. in the decade before his Marathon world record.
That said, Lopes looked to be dabbling in sports medicine procedures, after the age of 26 or so.
A woman, with a 1522 5k PR from 2022, running and beating almost all the best Japanese and US men in the field, is a drug result.
I'm going to get a shot of EPO.
LRC headline plastered on a Black Page to open up RoJo’s article:
”This seems to good to be true…”

So she went faster than all these records.
She came close to the 5km record too with her 15:00 split (which I did not think was possible)

You want a really small Trials, huh?
Might as well run it on a track.
