OP stop being terminally online and hate following people. You obviously check the social media accounts of the people you hate. You didn't just stumble across this photo by accident.
yeah, man. I hate it when GIRLS have FUN and take PICTURES. they should be like me, a rational MAN who stays home to ANGRILY MASTURBATE while I look at those pics in my BASEMENT.
If the tests were messed up or spiked they would have proven that a long time ago. I would not still be friends with a drug cheat if they failed to clear themselves.
Would you be friends with a murderer if they were in jail for life but said they didn't do it?
Doping and murder are completely different so cut the BS. Some acts are to extreme to forgive.
That's like comparing a shoplifter to a sex offender. Both don't carry the same weight.
It's the exact some thing if they say they didn't do it. They didn't actually commit either one right? Although everyone along with the courts and many appeals has proven them guilty. Don't matter the severity of the crime if they supposedly didn't do it.

Tell me you're a boomer without telling me you're a boomer!
Apparently you don't know how social media works. You follow someone and then when they post, it shows up on your feed. You don't have to "check" anyone's account to see what they post.
"You don't just stumble across his photo by accident..." Ummm.... yeah... you're an idiot! Turn off the Matlock and NCIS reruns and join us in this century.
The gleeful joy that people take in attacking Shelby is weird. I don't see people licking their chops and getting all excited to rip into Nigel Amos on 50 threads.
You Shelby haters are not wrong about the doping, but you are wrong to take so much pleasure in going after her. That is not healthy.
People in our sport do dope, they do get caught (sometimes), and they do their time. We move on. We don't relish and gobble up every bit of schadenfreude about every individual. That is not a good way to live your life.

your presumption that because she couldn't clear herself, she had to have intentionally doped is flawed. she does not have any evidence to justify how she unintentionally had the banned substance in her body. to have a suspension overturned, you have to have evidence to support your claims. to definitively show this, she'd have to know exactly how she had the substance in her body and where it came from.
Either she did know and it came from an action that would implicate her in a different manner (not worth noting), or she actually doesn't know (issue with the tests, contamination, sabotage, etc). The burrito, while a lame and poorly excuse, is similar to tainted meat excuses that have regularly worked on appeal for athletes. She clearly was not in a position to win an appeal where the burden of proof was now on her.
That said, people are more complex than just the worst thing they have ever done. I'd want to be friends with people who could look beyond the worst thing I've ever done.
It certainly doesn't make them less suspicious. I work in an industry with a strong compliance aspect. If I found a coworker committing fraud, I would not be able to maintain a friendship: I would be questioning their moral compass, I'd be very uncomfortable around them, and I would certainly be risking my reputation. You know who does hang out with fraudsters, though? Co-conspirators.
I for one think Shelby and the majority of the team were and still are cheats.
In the same light, if one of my buddies got caught cheating I’d probably give him crap 24/7, but I wouldn’t be kicking him from the friend group. If he bagged my mom or shot the guy down the street, that’s a different story. But I’m not unfriending someone because they took some potent vitamins that gave them an unfair leg up in their job. I’d just think they were a chump.

Interesting that they are all still Nike athletes, even though they don't train together anymore. You know who else is still a Nike athlete and ex-BTC athlete? Infeld. I see that she commented on the post in a positive manner, but wonder why she wasn't present. Considering that Shelby took a spot on the 2016 5K team ahead of her, probably while she was glowing, would not suggest happy want to go on Vacay vibes to me.

Infeld went to the Olympics in the 10k that year, and had the option to do the 5k after I think Huddle opted for only the 10k. That’s how Abbey D’ags (Cooper) made the 5k team.
As for not being on the trip, you’re probably reading too much into it. I don’t go on every single trip my friends go on. Infeld had Shelbo at her wedding after she got busted.
All those beach and dressed-up selfies, I see pro runner girls are as vapid and self-absorbed as any other girls.

Or a more logical explanation, is that Infeld isn't part of that friend group. It's not at all unusual for a group of people that train together to have a few that just aren't as tight with the rest of them.
Kara Goucher didn't fall for the Burrito nonsense either.
But generally, athletes rarely condemn their colleagues. Which American sprinter condemned Gay and Gatlin? Who condemned Cherono or Kipserem or Rutto or Kiprop?
Likewise, which cyclists condemned Armstrong, Pantani or Ullrich?
The silence is typical.
Athletes are not always quiet.
Paula Radcliffe and Hayley Tullet held up a sign "EPO cheats out".
Usain Bolt said Gay should have been kicked out of the sport rather than getting a reduced ban.
Des Linden spoke against Ritzenheim (who didn't dope) joining Hanson-Brooks for his association with Salazar.
Jenny Simpson cast a shadow on all Oregon Project athletes who chose to work under the dark cloud of Salazar.
Scott Fauble agreed, saying in a tweet that they should all be "persona non grata in the wider running community".
Shalane, Des, and Amy Cragg said when they finished Rio, they felt like runners ahead of them doped, and knew they finished higher.
Laura Muir expressed her own sour grapes and gave Genzebe Dibaba the silent treatment for her association with a coach who was never charged with anti-doping violations, and subsequently cleared of criminal charges.
Christophe "Mr. Clean" Bassons and Greg Lemond famously spoke out against Armstrong in 1999. Despite the chilling effect, and the omerta, many athletes spoke out against doping in the cycling peloton.
This list is phenomenal
Radcliffe who nearly everyone suspects of doping. Usain Bolt who is thought to be protected by WADA. Des Linden who used thyroid meds and prototype cheater shoes (2018 Boston) rails against working in the gray are and prototype shoes. Shalane and Cragg running for BTC (burrito track club) and wearing prototypes are concerned with others getting an unfair advantage.
Let’s just be honest this group of hypocrites were yelling loudly at others while doping in some capacity themselves. Let’s not reinvent history.

Very rational and logical take. Valid to think all of them are cheating. Certainly a realistic take on friendships. Taking everything personally as some posters have suggested isn't how everyone lives.
