I too haven't noticed any lane cutting but he is definitely sloppy just walking on and off the track at random interval/locations and not returning to where he left.
Getting back to the actual running part of this, following on from a two very good days of running on Day 8 and Day 9, (his most consistent consecutive days for a week), his opening three completed master laps this morning are not going well.
On the last two days, he returned to the track around sunrise after about 5 or 6 hours rest to run his first three master laps (38.5km) in about 4.5 hours. Today it's taken him about 6 hours.
Immediately struggling coming off his longest scheduled break isn't a good sign. This is looking to be a very unpleasant day for Nedd.
Don't write Lazarus off yet. He just did a 8.60km/h average Master lap (sub 7min pace), but when I looked at him right now, he hobbled a lap in 3min, had 2 min of strapping the left leg like a mummy-appears to be the knee- then again 3min.
Who somehow couldn't do it otherwise and will also buy his Oat milk brand that's double the price of other popular brands
I’m struggling to see the issue. Nedd got people (who usually wouldn’t donate to charity) to donate to charity, and somehow this is a bad thing???
You need to really come sit in the front of the class Johnny. It is not about the charity or getting numpties to donate for once in their lives. The charity is the authentication for making a name so that said numpties like you can drink his oat milk like you drink his 'cordial'
The stunt...crazier and rarer the better. Better even if it was last done 30 yrs ago with hand counting.
The goal....go for the moon, tell the idiots you'll break world records
The cause...pick one that people relate to and hasn't had the glamour.
The real cause...speaking engagements, brand ambassadorship, own range of 'health' products...even a TV gig if he can stop swearing.
At the end of the day lads call the event what you want, the man is out there putting himself through hell to help bring real change to a world that needs it.
He is just a kid trying to do some good. Doing a lot more than anyone else is doing. If you can't get around it move onto the next topic.
Regarding the charity aspect, most corporates have a yearly budget that allocates a certain amount to charitable donations. On a smaller scale the same applies for many citizens. All ned is doing is channeling some of this expenditure to his mate's charity. Is this really making the world a better place? Whatever is going to his charity of choice is money that won't be going to other worthy causes. It's the truth.
i know of him but haven't tracked his stuff. Only watch nedds because it was the first i saw of this type of stuff.
people hating on this bloke got something not right going on. It's strange people hate on someone out there giving it a go and calling his times fake and not a real run

Its funny seeing new registered posters on this thread that have registered on letsrun during Nedd's run and are now defending him, like the poster above this post who registered on the 13th of October, but there are others who have registered in the last week and are now on this thread defending Nedd.
ngl never heard of this page until today. I also have ZERO knowledge of running events or anything. just silly seeing clowns hate on a bloke doing something like this
But it’s not discussing NBs running. It’s making false unsubstantiated claims about NBs running in a weak attempt to discredit him. He attempted the record. He fell short. But not short enough to claim that he is a fraud. It was a noble attempt for an ultra runner with little credentials. One that anyone on this forum likely could not do.

You'd be surprised at the number of runners that could have a crack at this . If all the numbers can be properly verified then neds effort is very good but not super human . It's just that it's not a distance that is raced often so it's not as competitive
Let's be honest, Nedd's fanbase is largely composed of bogan meatheads and people who do not know anything about running. You can see this by the half-brains who come into this thread to defend him. I think he's alienated all actual runners by claiming he was going for the record.
This is a misconception. He’s alienated the fringe ultra community. A bunch of very impressive runners in Sydney are big supporters of his
