The border bill that Senator Lankford (R - OK), who co-sponsored the bill, called the most conservative border bill in 4 decades.
The border bill that the Border Patrol union strongly endorsed as a mechanism to let them do their jobs better.
The foreign aid provisions that were originally part of the bill weren't the problem; those provisions were separated out and passed on their own after Trump killed the bill.
McConnell: "And then our nominee for president didn’t seem to want us to do anything at all."
The fact of the matter is that Republicans don't care about the border at all, beyond the fact that it helps them win elections.
this is the story. This needs to be the headline on everything, not lame gotchas on which months walz was in china.
NBC News @NBCNews During the debate, JD Vance refused to acknowledge Donald Trump lost the 2020 presidential election, downplayed the seriousness of the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, and declined to say if he would seek to challenge the results of this year's election.
So you think the last election wasn't influenced? Do you think the last five elections were clean? I don't. They have all been fixed. For each one, the better fixer party won. Research each election. The "Russian " laptop swayed many voters who said they would have voted for Trump. It was a huge number, like 5%. That won the election.
Hillary was ahead in the final weeks of 2016. Then James Comey interfered and BINGO, Trump was president.
Of course all elections are fixed now. Both sides are a fixin'.
It’s hard to believe that the orange man would be president again but it’s a done deal now. There’s no way, in this economy and foreign policy debacle, that swing voters elect these inarticulate democrats. Gonna be wild!

Of all the "Election was stolen from Trump proofs" this one is pretty crazy.
1. If you research the laptop and listen to Lev Parnas who was Rudy's translator he confirms the laptop was a Russian disinformation operation. It was stolen when Hunter was high as a kite in Europe and woke up on another country. And Hunter's best buddy was a Russian paid handler at the time. This buddy was also getting paid by Burisma but nobody cares to talk about him. The chain of custody was lost at that point. Eventually the laptop became a hard drive.
2. Former US intelligence officials wrote that note saying in their opinion that all signs showed this as a Russian disinformation operation. They are free to do that.
3. the laptop (hard drive) was confirmed to be Hunter Biden's and the right wing became morally outraged claiming that this proved the US Intelligence officials wrong. IT DID NOT! Just because it was Hunter Biden's laptop does not mean it was not manipulated and planted as part of a Russian disinformation operation. Yet this became the right wing's spin about how Trump lost the election right down to this date.
4. On top of that, even though the Hunter Biden Laptop became the smoking gun for right wingers, it never proved anything that Right wingers wanted it to about Joe Biden. It is all BS. Just ask James Comer. There were months and months of hearings and nothing.
And now right wingers use it to claim this is why Orange cheebus lost the election
Vance: Donald Trump "peacefully gave over power on January the 20th as we have done for 250 years in this country." Mostly False.
Trump left the White House on Jan. 20, 2021, and another president was sworn in that day. But Vance’s statement ignores Trump’s words and actions that led up to the violent Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol. In December 2020, Trump repeatedly encouraged his supporters to fight the election results and gather at the Capitol. On Jan. 6, 2021, Trump used his "Save America" rally to repeat inaccurate claims that he won the election. He continually urged the crowd to "fight" before inviting them to march to the Capitol.
The border bill to protect the border after creating the mess and doing nothing for over three years? The border bill where nearly two thirds of monies involved went overseas? The border bill that would allow nearly two million people in a year. The border bill that wouldn’t address the 3 million backlogged asylum claims, a 50% increase since 2021. And at the end of the day Trump could only voice his opinion, five democratic senators agreed with him, which killed the bill.

And yet, Biden was able to get a decline in crossings with a simple executive action(like one of the 94 he rolled back from the Trump era). Which should tell you all you need to know about the nonsense of the past 3.5 years: it was DELIBERATE. The Dems care more about power than they do about the negative impacts of mass immigration.

Peacefully and patriotically.
As far as the peaceful transfer of power, explain the riots in DC at Trump’s inauguration in 2017:
Six police officers were injured and 217 protesters arrested Friday after a morning of peaceful protests and coordinated disruptions of Donald Trump's inauguration ceremony gave way to ugly street clashes in downtown Washingt...
Just a few observations put of a sense that the debate was really a beauty contest and Vance won that part. Debate points go to Walz. Vance revealed himself in ducking main questions about Trumps election denial and assault on Capitol, and in not being honest about his switching from hate to love of Trump. Vance is covering his personal ambition for the presidency with obfuscation and faux innocence.
Walz blew it by forgetting the camera: the pugnacious look doesnt persuade: all his good points were lost to his tense, overwrought defensive appearance. Nixon with a clean shave.

I'm nonplussed on the vice president debate as a thing. We didn't even nail down an answer to the question most voters want to know: Is JD Vance a robot?
