I know she got hurt last year and has barely raced at CO, but I have not heard any news regarding her in a while.

This will get deleted but I think she may finally be getting the help she needs and deserves.

I'm a casual fan at best and have a vague memory of her but I'm confused by this comment. Why would asking about an injured athletes return be some sort of conspiracy?
I remember watching her dominate FL. I thought she would fade but like a beast she held on FTW.
Not sure how reliable this is, but she is on the 2024 CU XC roster. They just haven’t run any races with their big dogs yet. They will probably run some of their lower roster at Wash Park tomorrow and the big boys and girls at Nuttycombe next week.
FWIW one of the guys I did know that was on the roster who transferred out is no longer on the roster.
The people on this message board say she can't be fixed. While I don't like how Carlson took over at Colorado and cut a lot of the roster, I think he could possibly get Cook back to running well.
stay tuned...
She was tagged on Carlson’s IG story earlier today, appeared to be running healthy with the squad.
she finished 36th at Arturo Barrios invite at Texas A&M the other day. not bad considering how much time she's taken off due to injury.

Talent never goes away. Hope she does well moving forward.
Yes it does. Mary Cain peaked at 19 years old. I am 50 and my talent left me a out 15 years ago. Grace Ping isn't as good as she was at 15.

she was a DNF in the 5K at Big 12 indoor championships. most likely coach realized she had no chance at getting points so is trying to save her for tomorrows 3K.

She was also a DNF at one of the Boston meets and appeared to be distraught after. Mentally this could be a huge barrier for her. I hope she has good guidance around her. It's hard for these athletes to go from dominating to mid pack runners.

Christopher Walken knows something.
Well she has been a DNF multiple times now which is unfortunate
