I think, that even as close as they got..the WR is safe for another year, I mean Arop had a really nice race and was still .66 off his seasonal best, with a pretty nicely paced set up today. I was dead wrong on Jakob, so could be again, but I don't think we will see anymore sub 1:41.5 performances. A lot of guys have emptied the tank, I think and been traveling and away from home for quite a while now.
Marco has showed he can run 1:41 in a variety of ways. A 49.7 split does not phase the guy. If he runs like he did today, but gets someone to chase him in the last 100m, the WR will go down.
