LFG!
Hocker will get destroyed by Jakob 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I wonder if we'll get more threads about dubai call girls or cole hocker today if he manages to win again.
I put my money on Hocker, if he’s in the same shape as in Paris. He has even more rabbits this time, and the same great one for 1.450 meters.
I have an interview at 2. Should I cancel so I can watch the entire meet?
it's possible. especially with Komen there to help bridge the gap for 800-1000
1500m pacers per the start list are going through 800m and 1k in 1:50.5 and 2:18.5, respectively. Through 1k that is about 3:27.mid pace, so I don't think this is an earnest WR attempt by Jakob. Probably using it as a tune-up for his presumed 3k WR attempt in 3 days.
Same pacing he had in Monaco, no? I think he’s going for a PB. Probably won’t announce a WR attempt until he gets down to 3:26.3 or so, just based on what he’s said in a couple interviews.
Reynold is back in the field. For Tim he is pre-qualified for the DL Finals so makes sense to skip this one.
You may be right. If so, he may wind it up in a similar way from 500m out and close in 53-54. Will it be enough to drop Hocker, though?
Any word on the Nia Akins status, or will we have to wait until she actually lines up for the 800?
So the 1500m is set for 1.50.5 and 2.18.5 at 1000m and you know Jakob is going to be right at the top of that green light - basically the same pace as Monaco.
You know off that I still don't see how we would get a WR and maybe tonight it's not actually the intention (whether he can or not). It could just be a lead-in to the 3000m on Sunday and then a more concerted effort attempt in Zurich.
Because it still signals a 2.46 mid (2.46.3-.7) 1200m time and Jakob is not running considerably under 40.0 for the final 300 to do it. The 1200m time still needs to be 2.45.5 and that means 1.50.0 at the slowest through the 8.
Depending on how the field bounces back I think we could see another 3.26 from him which would make him and El G the only men in history to run under 3.27 more than once. Could just as easily see a low 3.27 race which is still sensational but I'll go with the former.

The lights are set to 3:26.73, so it is unlikely we will see a wr
On Bet365 they got h2h matchup for Jakob vs Hocker. -334 for Jakob and + 240 for Hocker lol.
Jakob is a time trial merchant. He will probably beat everyone by more than a second today. But, it would be a different story without a rabbit
I just counted: 129 is the number to beat.
He doesn’t want to risk going over the line and tanking the last 200m (and getting beaten). Understandable, but if he never does get the WR he might regret not taking his chances on a 3:25 moonshot while he’s in this form.
