Does this prove that elite performances can be run clean?
....
Yes it does; however, more importantly it proves THAT NOT all World Record holders and World/Oltmpic medalists uses drugs.
Good god you are an ignorant and opinionated ass VIPAM! I would would rather hear from Armstronglivs than you (and that is NOT a compliment to him). It doesn't prove anything either way - you sound like that Douglas Burke idiot who thinks America is the most moral country in the world.
Wanyonyi is the clear favorite (as Thoughtsleader has rightfully claimed), and Arop is second (defending World champ - who has already beaten Hoppel on a number of occasions this year). You (like so many Americans) get carried away with Trials results - it is a great meet, but is not predictive of Olympic success necessarily. Many peak (even if unintentionally) at the meet, and you assume that because others don't run as fast at their trials (few have that level of competition), that they can't be as competitive. Really, get over yourself.
Bryce is clearly the 2nd BEST 800m runner in the world at the moment behind the Kenyan. At the Olympics we will see if he rises to #1 or drops to the third best.
No, I didn’t think so then and I don’t think so now.
