I'm annoyed about this because I wanted to see her lose. I thought there was a huge chance she would lose. Vulnerability like she demonstrated last year tends to track in the same direction. Once she skipped world indoors this year it hinted that she was no longer as confident or as much of a cinch.
IMO, Rojas is the most unwatchable athlete in track and field. Her antics never vary. I abuse the fast forward button.

very well stated
Don't have the patience to look at triple jump without Yulimar!
She always brings the drama and the spectacular together, with her it's fun to watch. In 2023 she delivered on the brink, very exciting to look at.
Always fun with her looks, adore the muscle work, her length and her dancing.
She's the greatest of all time, no challengers, especially when you consider how doped the Eastern European claimants were for certain. The achilles is really the achilles heel of the triple jumper, particularly the aging athlete.

This take confuses me, in Budapest she took the title on her very last jump, is that not exciting? Furthermore she's only been completely whacking everyone since about 2021, I feel like being tired of her dominance already is a bit harsh on her, especially when it was also extremely exciting in itself at Tokyo Olympics when she broke the WR, and at the Belgrade indoors. I can agree that any DL she's in is a bit boring (especially knowing she's rarely at 100% and still beats everyone handily while fouling most of the time)
Top level athlete - in an event where injuries are rampant - recall a dominant American having achilles issues, even having to change take-off legs.
Really, this site just seems to attract the haters for some reason - not her fault that the event is rather lame. I think her antics have made the event (really boring to me) somewhat watchable. Just like I watch the Pole Vault (equally boring to me) to see what Duplantis will do next. Don't get me started on the 10000m - would rather watch paint dry - but exciting races even get me to watch that if my favorite runners are in it.
