It’s insane how strong the US 1500 contingent is right now, and insanely young, Yared being the oldest at 24 (Hocker 22, Kessler 20). Hocker especially seems poised to break through, that 8:05 is nuts. We could have 3 Americans run 3:28 or better this year
The guy can definitely break 3:30, but he always seems to run really well indoors and then to not do much outdoors. I hope that’s not the pattern this season.
The guy has been around such a short time that people forget he's aging up and hasn't had that many seasons to compare.
I am pretty sure next outdoors will be great.
And of course, forget the outdoor mile world record he got.
You know Kessler is amazing because no one even remotely associates him with college runners. He's just been Kessler, that one pro miler, and he's just a kid.
