however, I have a real problem with how the exact requirements to make the Olympic team weren’t written in stone and known for at minimum the last 18mo or so.
get it out there early and let the runners know what it’s going to take. Then they can focus and compete.

USATF has updated their selection criteria for the marathon team as the first version was terribly worded and didn't say what they wanted it to say. We've also reached out to USATF to make sure everything is as we thought.
