The thing about Trump is that not many voters actually like him. But ... they like the idea of him winning. In some cases, they find it funny. It's like "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" kind of thing. For example, they hate the mainstream media, which hates Trump. There are probably a good number of swing state voters who fall into the category of
(1) Voted for Trump in 2016 because they really, really didn't like Hillary, and may have liked a lot of Trump's platform even if they didn't really like him overall.
(2) Voted for Biden in 2020 because they didn't like Trump's governance and felt that somehow COVID-19 could've been handled better. They are Obama voters who thought of Biden as "Obama's VP" and a moderate, so he could re-normalize things and we wouldn't have this toxic division that started when Trump came around.
(3) Leaning towards Trump for 2024 because they feel Biden is very bad on the economy and they kinda like the idea of seeing Trump re-elected just to prove that it could be done.

I'm a big Biden supporter. Despite not voting for him in the primaries, if I were to go back to the beginning of 2020, I'd be Biden all the way. Some reasons I think Biden is great:
Industrial policy. First president since pre-Reagan to try to take us back to the New Deal days. Big supporter of unions and worker power. Bringing supply chains to the US without alienation all our allies And we've seen that: wages have gone up a lot, and now they've started to outpace inflation.
Climate policy. Ties in with the first point. Biden's plan is the first significant investment in clean energy. Should have done this 20 years ago, but better late than never.
Little things like cracking down on airline fees.
It's hard to debate counterfactuals, but without Biden's clear-eyed judgement and deft touch at the beginning of the Russia-Ukraine war, there's a good change Putin would be walking around Kiev right now, and eying Poland.
Turning down the temperature in Washington. It's a little early to judge this, but Biden's ability to get things passed in a 50-50 Senate, and now a Republican-controlled House, is phenomenal. Gives me the smallest bit of hope the Republican party will eventually come out the other side...
The last one is a bit more nebulous, but Biden has set the template for an effective 21st century president. He keeps his tone and ambitions moderate, but is willing to take big steps when the opportunity is right (see the items above). He has hired a highly competent staff who agree with his vision and style, which is absolutely vital in today's complex world (this is also why I don't worry about age as much as other people do). And he's just genuinely a good guy, as much as a politician ever can be.
I'm relatively young, but Biden is the best president in my lifetime, and maybe even my parents' lifetimes. I would vote for pretty much any Democrat over pretty much any Republican, but I am one of the (perhaps rare?) people who would vote Biden over anyone else I can think of.

It will lead to price inflation, lower standards of living, and ultimate lower employment as firms cannot compete in the global market to acquire raw materials and talent.

Trump was very pro free trade he was anti unfair trade. His update on NAFTA was brilliant and no one denies that China is a dishonest and exploitative trade partner.
Trump wasn't anti-immigration he was anti ILLEGAL immigration. Two years of Biden border policy has even the mayors of sanctuary cities begging the Biden administration to cut it out with the wide open border and complete lack of border enforcement.
