The problem with Deno is that he does not or cannot adjust his thinking when new information becomes available. Yeah, Russ was great at one time. An MVP. Those days are clearly over and once he has an idea stuck in his head, he can't move beyond it.

When you are looking to trade your top two receivers that pretty much says it all.
The guy has no Baldwin, no Lockett, he has nobody who can get open, Put Kelce on Denver, give Wilson a Tyreek Hill.
Every pass he throws is right on target, best long ball in the biz, How many drops have his receivers had try,,,,12.
Feel sorry for the guy, should have stayed in Seattle,,

That is exactly what I am doing, adjusting to new info, that is the guy has no receivers, Hell the TV guys talked about how nobody could seperate,
Right now Denver is trying to unload both Jeudy and Sutton, that should say it all. There is no GRONK no Kelce to rely on, the guy has nobody.

Dual threat QBs who evolved into great pocket passing quarterbacks:
Can I say Francis Tarkenton? He was leading Minnesota Vikings to Superbowl or two at or near R Wilson's age even though Tarkenton's best running days were his first time with Vikings and Giants years.
Randall Cunningham had one great season (or partial season) as a mostly pocket passing QB, 1998-1999 season.
Steve Young did evolve from a dual threat QB to a Hall of Fame pocket passing QB. See learning from Bill Walsh and Joe Montana.
Once Father Time only grants dual threat QBs with 4.7 40 yard dash speed, it changes everything. Once dual threat QB only is equal in speed to defensive ends, either they figure out how to play like Drew Bledsoe, Peyton Manning or Dan Marino from the pocket or they agree to play 3rd string or they leave the League.

Seattle unloaded Russell at the right time. Well, maybe a year earlier would have been better. The big problem is that Russ wanted all of his money NOW! He wasn't willing to spread it out over a number of years like Tom Brady did. That's why there is no money to buy better players on both the DL and OL lines.
