This might be true. But is jasari an active competitor at senior elite level?
If not...what could he lose at all?
Aouita isn't an unknown person inside T&F World. He was one of the most visible faces of mid distance running in the 80's.
Only two great Moroccans medalists are considered by "clean athletes" by general perception: El G and Aouita.
And likely those 2 are cheaters too.

No. I haven't run competitively since I was 19. I'm 25 now. Terrible knee injuries.
This isn't a 'hush hush' case. There are literally dozens of Australian athletes who gave proof to Athletics Australia on this. One of the older female athletes tape recorded one of the incidents.
It was back in 2002. I was only 15, but if WADA wanted information Athletics Australia would have stacks of it. Like I said, it wasn't a case of one or two people. There was literally dozens, Including the 20+ MD guys and girls I was training with at the time.

Aouita is a joke
El Guerrouj is a joke
Pretty much the entire moroccan mid distance team is a joke

It was just common knowledge at the time within the Australian running scene and poor old Mark Fountain copped all the flak for outing him.
Prior to Aouita AA bought out another Moroccan coach as a possible candidate, he was up to his neck in suspected PED promotion but eventually got knocked backed for the job because of his poor Enlgish. His name escapes me now.

Who are you and why should someone contact you?

Canova has ZERO credibility. He just blusters on in broken english sputing garbage. he is just helping cover up for his cheaters
He's doing an awful job of it, in that case. No one from the Belarussian federation is on here talking about Ostapchuk, and no one from the Russian federation is on here talking about Soboleva, Tomoshova or Chizenko. Cheating coaches (like those) don't open themselves up to the masses.
Of course Aouita says that everyone's on it. Ask a thief why he steals, and he'll tell you that everyone else is stealing, too.

Why don't you get a life instead of making up shitty facts. Radcliffe has never been rumoured to be taking HGH.
While bouncing around doing some research, this thread popped up. I haven't read it all, but in immediate response to your comment, it is known now that Radcliffe (as well as Bolt) had been seeing Healing Hans since she was a teenager (Bolt went to see him while a teenager too). We do know Healing Hans unapologetically administered HGH to, at least, some of his patients.
Wow. Continuing my research, I come across this post, and the earlier ones indicating Aouita moved onto Qatar, where Canova was evidently responsible for their distance squad. Any further info on an Aouita/Canova connection?

I was under no impression that he was on trial for anything currently. I'm surprised not many people actually know about this. He was literally kicked out of Australian Athletics. There are dozens of people who gave first hand accounts to Athletics Australia over the drug allegations. It primarily started due to the fact that runners such as Suzy were breaking down with injury. Initially he was in strife because the AIS [Australian Institute of Sport] deemed that his training programs were actually huge factors in injury and burnout. He then went on to state that this was a normal training program used by athletes however you needed PED's to enhance recovery.
Suzy? As in Suzy Favor Hamilton? Or an Australian? And if it was Hamilton, are you implying she was doped, and thus breaking down from it, or she was breaking down from the inability to keep up with the dopers?
C'mon. You took the time to write this post (asking for a response from a poster from 5 years ago) but you didn't take the time to scan the very first post in the thread in order to determine that the Suzy in question was the Aussie Suzy Walsham?

My bad, missed it (over the repeated Melissa Rollison) when speed reading.

I remember this incident when it happened, I am still flabbergasted that Aouita wasn't banned for life from the sport. The people I know involved said it was staggering. IAAF totally ignored the incident. Diack was sooo corrupt. HGH, interesting choice of drug.
aouita also applied to coach in singapore but the world is too small for one to hide lack of results and references.

What???? I thought letsrun.com posters had already revealed that all of the secret drug manufacturing plants and distribution centers are in Kenya and Ethiopia??
Look fellas, it's a black knight. Lol
Aouita - 'You Ozzies have to take HGH to win.'
Ollie Hoare - 'Take your HGH and stick it where the Moroccan sun don't shine'.
I had forgotten about this thread- referenced earlier today. Sad to see that our sport is no further along, and perhaps worse off.
TBH, a greater red flag with Aouita was him being named as a client of Georges Mouton - a Belgian doctor with the nickname 'Docteur Syringe' who was busted for supplying numerous North African distance runners, as well as Tour de France cyclists with EPO and other peds in the 90's and 00's. Mouton got off with it through a ridiculous technicality. The corrupt Belgian judge claimed the overwhelming evidence against him was inadmissable because one of the whistleblowers had violated a privacy law or some such. A worse coverup than Operacion Puerto.
It's a mystery why this NEVER gets mentioned here, no matter how many times I post it (the only times it's ever posted on an English site).
