definitely grant. dude had 4.0 in school. jakob did not (he said he didn't like school).
also, stanford is 50/50 when it comes to assessing "intelligence" in school. a lot of their students are student-athletes, people who get in because of really good athletic abilities.
better proxy for intelligence would be MIT or Caltech (they don't care how good you are at sports; you have to get in with near-perfect SAT/ACT, max score in multiple STEM AP/IB exams, 8+ AP's and 3.8 GPA minimum. on top being nationally recognized in nerdy extracurriculars like science bowl, usamo, etc.)
i knew people from my junior olympic days who got into stanford because they had a 4:0X 1600m and 9 minute 3200m. imagine how badly stanford and every d1 college wanted jakob, who was faster than alan webb (who ran 3:53 mile as high schooler)
No they are not smart enough to go to Harvard, but Gabrielle Thomas is. For Stanford I think you need at least a 150 IQ For Harvard you would need a 190 IQ MINIMUM

NOTE Einstien's IQ was 160 he would not have been smart enough to attend Harvard

Hahahahahahahahaha. I really hope you are trolling. Do you know how rare a 190 IQ is? There is probably no student at Harvard currently with an IQ of 190. Or maybe one or two at the most.

This one is easy. Who is better at his day job job?
Jakob strings together a training schedule which keeps him consistently at the top of the game - season after season, while Grant plays with his soldering iron.

GPA isn't a great measure of intelligence. It's a good measure of regurgitation.
yes and no.
good gpa does not equal intelligence, yes. but someone with a bad gpa is for sure just a dumba**. or a lazy dumba**.
it's not possible to get A's in 10 AP classes (especially STEM ones), in an academically rigorous school, if you are stupid.
that being said, there are for sure dummies with 4.0. but usually they did easy classes.
source: went to a good UC, ran track with a friend from high school who went to MIT. knew slackers who couldn't get into good schools (they all had a bad GPA but claimed to be "street smart")

Not in academically challenging fields, it's not about "reguritation". Try regurgitating the correct answers on exams in math, science, engineering . . .
