I'd like to get a thread started about the different towns / cities in NY. I'll go first - Chautauqua NY. This is a region along lake Erie that is similar to some of the bigger towns on the finger lakes. Snow is our second language. We have a kick-ass lake as well.
I haven’t lived there in a few years actually, but I still have friends there and in Bemus Point. I’d say “friends” in Jamestown, Falconer, and other places nearby, too, but they’re just acquaintances.

Utica Avenue in Brooklyn or Utica upstate?
Upstate. My dad lived at Winged Foot in Mamoraneck with one of the Harmons. Either Claude or Butch. He was a really good golfer.
