As a dad with a 9-5 (and 40), and who's run buddies are also same boat as me a lot of them run at 4:30 am and I try to get out by 6:30 am (if not a workout). I would never commit to 4:30 if I didn't HAVE to because I don't get paid to do this and by running at 6:30 I still have my whole day to enjoy. For a lot of people it's about getting it done when you can. In my situation and my friends, we have a 9-5,6,7 career and family so the morning is the best time and that's all it is to it. For a college kid or H.S kid not getting paid and trying to make it, what's wrong getting up at 10:30? Paid pro's I follow on strava don't run before 7:30 usually its lunch time or 10:30, so you don't get a shinny medal because you are up at 2-5am running for none of the reason's i mentioned above
