According to the WA points tables, for what they’re worth, 4:43.13 = 1307 points and is stronger than any other men’s track record over 400m.
Jakob was magnificent. I’m at work and forced my non track fan colleagues to watch and then watch Jackson. Sort of overbearing, but who cares. Once they understood the back stories (ie Jakob’s loss in Budapest, feigned illness, El G’s suspect past, Flo Jo’s suspect past, etc), they were totally into it. New fans….maybe….
I predict the Cory McGees of the world start getting nasty and actively pushing for testing on you Ms Wiley. Corey could be out of a job soon otherwise
I didn’t think anyone could outdo Ramsden for worst pacing job of the year, but Collins Kipruto exceeded my expectations.
It’s still Ramsden ha. Kipruto messed up Moula, but Ramsden screwed over the entire field.
Eh, I guess we’ll disagree. Ramsden slowed the field down a little but Kipruto ruined Moula’s race by actually making contact with the racers and forcing them to do serious dodging 550m into an 800, which is terrible.
To be fair Ramsden made Kipsang veer wide as well. Just a slightly less dramatic guy ha. And I like Moula but he is constantly having major issues. He needs to figure out his race plan in the 800. He is too small to mix it up like he does.

It´s always fun to break a record. This one qualifies as a world record and not as a world´s best. I know I was able to break this one, but I had some kind of virus ten days ago and I didn´t really know how I would be feeling today. However I felt really good and ran a good race. To be honest this records wasn´t a difficult one for me. Sure, when you have to do it alone, it´s really tough, but I got great help from the pacemakes. Actually they were able to help me more than I expected.
-To his point the pacer was there how late? 1350? Perhaps Tuwei should consider the 1500 in the future…
It's amazing how evidence-proof you are. I have several times linked sources on birth certificate compliance in Kenya and other countries where around 2010, it was still only around 50%. Today, Unicef reports 67% birth certificate compliance in Kenya, virtually identical for each sex.
Society first acknowledges a child’s existence and identity through birth registration. The right to be recognized as a person before the law is a critical step in ensuring lifelong protection and is a prerequisite for exerci...
