That's what I used to do back in the day before there was a decent "runner's watch".
Forerunner 35.
forerunner 35 for me aswell
Garmin Forerunner 45.
I tend to use a sundial these days.
You can get by with 20 x 4 with the 30 lap version. Just don't record the rests. That's probably about the most reps you'll do in a workout ever though. The only time I thought more than 30 laps might be useful was in recording mile splits for an ultra.
What's everyone else wearing? Always looking for new recommendations!
When I go running, I usually wear my Garmin Forerunner because it’s great for tracking all the metrics like pace, distance, and heart rate. It’s super reliable and has a long battery life.
Garmin Epix Gen 2 sapphire.

I have to charge it once a week and like once every couple of months I get a corrupted file, but other than that it works completely fine for logging miles and workouts.
Same here - first and only GPS watch.
I think it will outlast my desire to use Strava
In high school I used a stop watch that I left in the mailbox while running.
Never wore one when I ran in college. Everyone else had one.
This is all pre HR monitor and gps.
I don't because I'm old and my eyes are shot.

You brought back a random memory I had totally forgotten. I used to do the stopwatch in the mailbox occasionally too.
I'm using the Garmin Instinct 2, I like that it looks like a G-shock and has about 3 weeks battery life in smartwatch mode, plus solar charging
I wear a smart watch from Twellmall, which is very good value for money. I need to know my running mileage, time, speed, and calories, and it can do it very well.
I run with my great grandpappy's pocket watch made by the Waltham Watch Company. Its been in the family for 4 generations.
