I think McDonald's workers should com0lain they should be paid the same amount as womens soccer players. Why are these women only advocating for their own pay when many people but not the soccer players live in poverty?

How does this compare to the revenue generated by the games?

Why are you to correlate what women soccer players make at the World Cup to what T&F athletes make at the World Championships? What does one have to do with the other?

Something doesn’t add up. Round Robin is 3 games. Round of 16, Quarter finals, semis and Finals. That’s 7. Seven times thirty is 210…

Turns out you don’t understand English. $30k appearance fee per player total regardless of games. Prize money up to $270k for winners runner ups get $195k total for 7 games. 10k winners get $70k for one race, 5k winners get $35k per heat. So they do better than the women in the World Cup. Overall it seems comparable. World Cup lasts weeks longer and might require 7 games. Way more commitment than any of the championship athletes. Lyles will get $140k plus relay money over 9 days. That’s right up there with World Cup semi-finalists in a lot less time.
