Maybe they aren't as "serious" as you but you should check virtually every pro distance runner and take a look at the "recreational" runner shoes they are logging miles in.
Rotate between the current NIKE Pegasus, Vaporfly, Invincible, Streakfly, because that's what guys like Jakob, Joshua, and all the major medalists at the world championships and Olympics wear. If you want to be the best, wear the best!

Saucony triumph!
New Balance 990 V5. I can squeeze 1,000 miles out of a pair (mostly on crushed limestone trails).
Asics Novablast 3. I'm on my 4th pair now, and I put 800 miles (mostly on grass) on the last pair before I even realized how old they were getting. I buy them on clearance, of course.

I rotate through several different shoes, but if I had to choose one shoe it would be the Asics Superblast. Some peolple don't like them for slower easier efforts, but it seems to do everything pretty well for me and the compromises are minimal. I can run fast or slow in it and they are reasonably durable.
Saucony Triumph 21
Nice shoes, but they are expensive and they don't hold up well at all for me.
