Tbh stride report does deep in-depth analysis of when they rank and it's by a panel of people who's job is to analyze solely. USTFCCCA is "I BELIEVE" by coaches and they tend to take things at face value.

Beat him early last year as well I think. Thing is, Lacrosse doesn't really 'race' except maybe one east coast meet and regions/nats. Gregg just ran with the rest of the team, we don't really know what either will do later in the year.
He also did a workout after the race. 2 x 3200. Gregg will be ready when it matters.
Does anyone know why St. Olaf and Carleton host a meet on the same day?
They are literally across the street, do the coaches hate each other?
Olaf has their meet every year so that's pretty standard. This year Carleton hosts the conference meet so their race was a pre-conference.
That might explain this year, but I remember this being the case when I was in college 4-5 years ago, I think the meets are always on the same day.
looked back and they are on different days most years... Carleton meet doesn't happen most years.
Any notable results from this past weekend?
Uchicago men averaged sub 25, beating #20 wash u, women got a perfect score at gil dodds. Men's performance is bigger considering they went in unranked by USTFFCA.
Every woman in the top 12 PR'ed (I stopped looking after that). This course must be fast!
Tufts win over bates gets them ranked number 20
Loras at 17# is simply deplorable and absurd. They had one runner sub 15 in the 5k last outdoor season, who by the way was a graduating senior.
Pomona averages 24:25 at UC Riverside. North Central averages 25:16 on last years nationals course. Slightly under expectations imo from NCC, but I dont know how the course conditions were like.

Can people stop talking about PP? Theyre gonna blow up at nats like they always do.
Like how they choked in 2021?

The UC riverside course is insanely fast for early season. We will really see the course true potential when it host regionals later this year.

From what I checked, I think we have 8 ranked men's and 9 ranked women's teams out there. I assume all squads will be at full strength.
Reid Buchanan and Des Linden rip Eliud Kipchoge on twitter - "Give me a break"
Am I the only one that thinks Nuguse AR is as suspect as the women's marathon WR?
How to tell my athlete he did "meh" when he thinks he did great
Oh the irony. What if it turns out the new $500 adidas shoe is just way better than Nike's?
