They live-streamed the whole race on Instagram from the cart. It’s the same course they always race.
For those that raced today, how would you compare the two courses? Carleton last K seemed fast!

The Oles were joking about an alumni driving the cart not knowing the course. I thought they were serious. So times look pretty fast. I'd say Carleton is 20-25 seconds slower which is still impressive for the Oles. Looks like the full MIAC will be at the BluGold, so we'll get a better idea of how competitive the Oles are.
Why are you so lame
You add absolutely nothing of value whatsoever to this thread. You’re not funny, clever, or interesting.
How about both the Oles and Carls bearing in-state D2 teams!

Yes, congratulations to St. Olaf for beating Concordia-St.Paul. They should make a commemorative poster to hang in the Quack Shack to celebrate the event.

Heard the lead cart forgot to take a turn at Olaf before the 2K, so they ran roughly 400 meters short.
Where does NotKevbot get this stuff?!? Carls will believe anything to think Oles aren't fast.

Do you know the Carleton course but at all? If the splits for the last 1k AREN'T fast, let me know...there would be something wrong.
Instagram live stream from the lead cart...very nice and excessive. I am sure the 20-minute 5k recruits eat that up.
You guys are just lucky you don't have to deal with Caden Nordberg.
Is that the kid that tried to run a 5K with Bocovich and Bati and got spit out the back last year? He did a nice job holding off Bethel’s top guy to hit the low 14:50’s though.
He’s a strong runner and would be tough in the MIAC, but the Tommies have their own Summit League thread.

Royals are in Waverley for Wartburg invitational
That's your opinion, but I'll share some more info for you!
Looks like the Oles were missing Coffey, Curtis, Lynn, and their transfer last week. The Johnnies returned Tommy but didn't have Carter or Eamon. All are impact athletes for both teams. No Josh Meier for Carleton. After his big Spring if he can figure out the 8K he could be a valuable piece of depth for the Oles. Mac is clearly missing a few guys too. Calvin sorting out how to run a race with a cast should only be a small setback. Anyone know how long he'll have it?
I thought you said the transfer would have no impact. Now he's an impact athlete on their team? If ur gonna be an idiot at least be consistent

boom roasted.
Is it interesting that the Royals beat Gustavus recently? Was that to be expected? Seems like Bethel has something going for them this year…
Not really that surprising, Gustavus wasn't particularly good last year. Looks like Tyler Smith didn't race either, hopefully he's not hurt again. Bethel also looks like they brought in a decent freshman class, better than what Gustavus has showed.
Has showed 🤣
Bethel has unprecedented depth this year, but I think a potential return from St. George will give them the spark they need to break into the top half of the conference come championship season. No matter the sub 15 min 5ker’s status, it’s safe to say that Graber, Thompson, Lelinga, and co. look poised to cook this fall.
Gustavus, despite getting edged out by the Royals, should benefit well from a potential return of Junior-standout Tyler Smith. Word on the street is they were tempo-ing through 5k at Carelton… so we should see strong showings from their squad in the coming weeks when they’re let loose from the start.
Anyway, fun to see some teams making strides that are not named Macalester or Scholastica, as much as we appreciate their efforts for putting stress on Northfield and Collegeville.
Looks like bethel has entered the chat.
Hey Carls, can you please run Karhu this year. I promise it will be really fun.
