Mac with the big time win over St. Olaf! 🙄
I thought Boone would beat Kelly, but we’d really surprised to see Lars beat him too. No Curtis or Lynn for the Oles. Mac missing a couple big names too. This will be recruiting material for the Scots for sure.
Based on Strava, oles tempoed first 3k of the race, I wouldn’t get too excited if I was Mac. That said, very impressive runs by Boone and DeWall, it appears Lars has made a substantial jump in fitness from track season
Good racing last night, it was a hot one for sure. Speaking of St. Mary’s, they showed a lot of improvement from last year. From not scoring, to 21st this year.
I feel like the conference is really on the rise. St. Mary’s has some young talent to build on, Macalester brought in a couple top guys, so did the Cobbers. And of course the usual teams continue to be strong. Will be a fun couple years!
Johnnies start the season with a perfect score!
In a lot of ways it appears that Boone and Dewall are like the Mo Farah and Galen Rupp of the MIAC...
Seeing the Ole alumni results today sort of diminishes the Macalester win from last week. Perhaps protesting the coaching situation, it looks like the top alumni didn't show up other than our second favorite Joe Coffey.
If you placed any weight in MAC barley beating olaf during a workout, you're clearly a moron
Many of the Ole alumni ran on a relay team that won the Klondike Road Relay in Alaska this weekend. Looks like some wild vert for a few legs. Had that group ran their alumni race I'm not positive the current team would have won. Of course the alumni won two years ago and that team finished 17th in the country so there is precedence.
Anyone down for a MIAC alumni Ragnar challenge? We could even let the Tommies play.
First weekend of head to head matchups at Carleton. La Crosse will probably tempo half the race, but the matchup between St. John's, Carleton, and Minnesota State will be fun to watch.
The individual battle will provide a nice MIAC/North Region championship preview too. I also don't understand why there are two meets in Northfield, but the Oles seem to be ducking real competition this year.
Does anyone have the entries list for Carleton vs. Olaf meets this weekend? Or are you just pulling from team schedules?
Was wondering if there were individual and team projections for each of the meets, also interested to hear the thoughts from the crowd
Heard through an anonymous source that long lost cousins Olaf Coffey and Lars Dewall have both announced they will be transferring to Mankato State so they can happily Zyn in peace. How will this effect the MIAC title odds for the oles?
Dave ricks scared of the oles(Mario) that's why he made cow meet the same weekend

Heard the lead cart forgot to take a turn at Olaf before the 2K, so they ran roughly 400 meters short.
Looking at watch data from people, this just seems false. I saw distances between 4.91 and 5.02 which does not indicated 400 m short
