Anybody know why Kyla Krawczyk of Boston College was Dq'ed? It happened at 34 seconds of heat 5 in lane 8 but I can't see what she did. It appeared she went over the hurdle in a strange way and immediately the official started waving his yellow flag. I'm not sure if she hooked the hurdle or what she did.
Forget it, it's in the results: 15.6-2a: Lead leg violation. Not sure exactly what this means though. Hooking the hurdle would be the trail leg. Maybe she didn't make an honest effort to clear the hurdle and simply crushed it with her lead leg on purpose?
I don't know why they called this a "lead leg violation"; hooking a hurdle is a trail leg issue.

Well that was compelling. Quarzo back there helping Howlett, then she dies and finishes 13th. Howlett along with Chmiel and Hays on to Austin. The usual suspects w/ exception of Brown and Quarzo advance.

The video angle and the other racers between the camera and the BC runner obstructing the view the makes it hard to tell what exactly occurred. I think her approach to that hurdle was off. It appeared she was extending her stride in order to get her steps in to get the appropriate leg for take off (didn't want to switch her lead leg, which is not uncommon to do on that curve during the race), but she took off too far from the hurdle and her trail leg/knee knocked over the hurdle (which led to the awkward landing). We would need a head-on shot to see what really occurred though.
