Rioting not quite the same as sedition. Spend less time defending him and more time getting all the other people you think are just as guilty in jail too.
100% of Gop defended these guys. Called them heroes in some cases. Democrats are not lining up to defend arson. That's...the diff.

A man who didn’t enter the capitol, who didn’t have a weapon, etc. is sentenced to 18 years in federal prison where 95% of the jury pool are Democrats. No surprise. Not lopsided justice by any measure. Remind me how many of the arsonists, funders and planners behind the BLM riots received similar sentences.
Next you'll be saying Harry Truman had nothing to do with dropping it on Nagasaki

10-15 unarmed black males are killed by police each year. Floyd's death was tragic, but it wouldn't have happened if he hadn't resisted arrest. Should cities burn because a felon dies resisting arrest?
I'm partway through listening to the latest On the Media podcast, an interview with his ex-wife. She loved explaining why he wears an eye patch - it's from him accidentally shooting his eye out. That's in direct contrast to the gun skills proficiency that militia people like to brag about.
