I’m a senior going into college my PR in the 5k is 15:30(on track with bad pacing and no competitors). I have done a tempo at 5500 feet of elevation for 4.77 miles @ 5:14 pace(on a track solo), On the treadmill at sea level i did a 8 mile tempo at 5:16 pace. My senior year I averaged around 60 miles a week (in 6 days). I also did a too fast “tempo” at 5:20 pace for 5.63 miles where the first 5k of the tempo I did a 15:49. This summer i’m going to average 70 miles a week while also training with a D1 program. Thoughts on what i could run this coming cross country season in the 8k?
