I think it's generally agreed upon that the Youngs have more opportunities to run fast being in CA with great training conditions and proximity to high level races. Burns and Birnbaum are doing most of their races in the midwest where the weather is often cool and extremely windy. As far as the 800, Birnbaum ran a solo 1:50 this year on a windy day in Sioux Falls which seems a lot more impressive than being pulled to a fast time in a collegiate or pro race. Leo isn't the best until he proves it by winning a race against these guys.

Simeon and Burns come out to California and just throw down. Take a Young twin, dump them in the Midwest, and they don’t do what these guys have.
