To everyone complaining - your bias is showing. Alternatively, you’re also showing you aren’t a fan of our entire sport. There are 21 events that score points for a team. 8 of those are field events and the multi events are more field than track. score points everywhere!

Florian definitely has tradition in the jumps and hurdles. However, last outdoor season (2022) they won with only 100m, 200m, and 400m runners.

Smith and then Godfrey were able to get and develop some some quality guys for fractions of scholarship. I'd say Cliff got lucky on those points at the conference level. For every 800/1500 point scored, there's a Eastern European triple jumper on a full ride that got 10th
