By now, we established the best track spikes for pretty much every event, but what about XC spikes?
Just wanted to ask the Letsrun community, by before the XC season in 2023, what are your guys/gals opinion on the BEST XC SPIKES/FLATS in the current XC market right now?

spikes: dragonfly xc (came out today) victory 5 spikes, rival 6 spikes, track dragonflys
waffles/flats: dragonfly xc (blanks or no spikes in) victory 5 waffle, rival 6 waffle, saucony sinister (sub 5 oz), reebok run fast pro (sub 4 oz), streak lt
supershoes: adidas takumi sen 8/9, vaporfly 2, nb sc pacer, saucony endo pro 2, saucony endo pro 3
wild card: mizuno wave duel pro and pro qtr
of this list i think the best would be the dragonfly xc, vf 2, ts 9

That's a pretty good list. I have been considering using the takumi sen 9 for my 8k cross country races. Supposedly the new rival 6 spikes/waffles have ZoomX for its midsole. Do you think it would be a good quality ZoomX and make the rival 6 the cheapest shoe to buy ZoomX from?
