Just that. Where I live is already quite hot, and sunny, and will remain hot till october. Is it better to run with a hat or cap, to protect from direct sunlight, or without it to favour heat dissipation?
ciele athletics product for sure, don't knock until you try it. the product with the coolmaticEXP fabric has a cooling element via the carbon yarns. also million miles guarantee on all the products = amazing customer service.
If you watch working people outside in hot contries, most of them wear hats or caps. It may also depend on how long do you run. As longer as better a cap. Ironman athletes all wear something on the head.

Cap or Visor, and if you don't want to wear those, better wear sunglasses. Trust me, you do NOT want the eye damage that long term sun exposure causes.

It’s really a personal preference thing but like one of the responders said, a breathable cap on hot days in my opinion is the way to go. I’d personally like to see more people wearing capes.

Unless it's cold and I'm wearing a headband, I wear a hat every run, normally with sunglasses. I agree with many of the posters about the importance of protecting your eyes and facial skin. I just have some random nike running hat and barely notice that it's on my head
Wear a hat. In high uv, definitely worth it. If you're worried about keeping cool, wear long sleeves but drench your shirt in water. Cotton is preferable to hold the moisture instead of those tech shirts. Will stay wet for at least 30 minutes

Absolutely wear one in the heat. Any cheap quick dry with vents on Amazon is ok, under $20 easily. It helps keep heat out, dissipates moisture, keeps sweat from going down your face. In 2017 Boston marathon in the heat it was a great place to store ice on your head while running, just like your own private AC.
My favorites are the Outdoor Research ones that have the breathable sides. They are awesome and last a long time. I have some random UA and Nike ones that are fine, too.
