No cap, that ish is bussin, fr fr fr fr fr
Visors work well because they keep the heat dissipation and block the sun.
ciele athletics product for sure, don't knock until you try it. the product with the coolmaticEXP fabric has a cooling element via the carbon yarns. also million miles guarantee on all the products = amazing customer service.
If you watch working people outside in hot contries, most of them wear hats or caps. It may also depend on how long do you run. As longer as better a cap. Ironman athletes all wear something on the head.
Has anyone tried one of those "ice" caps that are supposed to be cool in the summer? I wonder if they work?
Cap or Visor, and if you don't want to wear those, better wear sunglasses. Trust me, you do NOT want the eye damage that long term sun exposure causes.
Double layer bandana / sunscreen (Bald over here.)
I go a step beyond caps and wear a wide bill sun hat when I run in the sun. The Ultra Adventure hat from Sunday Afternoons is what I use.
It’s really a personal preference thing but like one of the responders said, a breathable cap on hot days in my opinion is the way to go. I’d personally like to see more people wearing capes.
Unless it's cold and I'm wearing a headband, I wear a hat every run, normally with sunglasses. I agree with many of the posters about the importance of protecting your eyes and facial skin. I just have some random nike running hat and barely notice that it's on my head
Wear a hat. In high uv, definitely worth it. If you're worried about keeping cool, wear long sleeves but drench your shirt in water. Cotton is preferable to hold the moisture instead of those tech shirts. Will stay wet for at least 30 minutes
Meb and Deena wore caps in the 2004 Olympic Marathon. They wet them down and wore cooling vests before the start. Worked fairly well for them.
I thought you were talking Gen Z slang.
Cap, no cap.
Fake or not.
Absolutely wear one in the heat. Any cheap quick dry with vents on Amazon is ok, under $20 easily. It helps keep heat out, dissipates moisture, keeps sweat from going down your face. In 2017 Boston marathon in the heat it was a great place to store ice on your head while running, just like your own private AC.
do you wipe forwards or backward ? cap or no cap ; seek professional counseling; you do you beta.
My favorites are the Outdoor Research ones that have the breathable sides. They are awesome and last a long time. I have some random UA and Nike ones that are fine, too.
I’m not certain if youre referring to this kind of cap, but it’s great. Room for 4 ice cubes (lasts about 25 minutes).
I would recommend a loop so you can replenishing the pockets with ice.
These are the best kind becouse it protects your ears too: something similar to a fisher-cap hat but with technical fabric and bigger all-around wing.
Nobody liked my “capes” joke apparently lol
