As the title suggests. Any predominantly forefoot strikers tried a few different pairs and can recommend one?
I typically wear 6mm-8mm drop and have issues above and below this.
TIA

Nike NEXT% are my faves and I've tried Streakfly and Takumi Sen 8. The TS are snappy but harder work when fatigued. Streaks are great trainers but NEXT always my choice for racing.
Whatever you do, don’t run in Nikes unless you want PF.
Not your typical runner, but here's my experience.
Shoes used exclusively for track workouts at 4:20 to 5:30/mile pace.
Saucony Endorphin Pro2: Fast. Forefoot is too firm for me. I have a chronic bruising issue on my left ball of foot and this shoe makes my feet sore after a few reps. Probably unique to me. Feels fast. Rep times confirm that they are fast.
Nike Vaporfly Next% 2: Fast. Good fit. Enough cushion. Lightweight. Fast. Subjectively, they are *maybe* faster than the Pro 2. Subjectively, they don't feel like they'd last very long. The raised Achilles bumper(?) seems gimmicky. I worry that if I'm not careful putting on the shoe, it would rip off. And, of course, they are pricey.
Atreyu Artist: Very inexpensive at $100. Fast. Wide comfortable toebox. Most comfortable of all. Slightly heavier than the other shoes. Surprisingly good traction considering the smooth outsole, even on a wet track. Not quite as fast as the previous two shoes, but I always have it in my bag should a foot injury resurface with one of the other shoes. I probably do half of my track workouts in this shoe.
Saucony Endorphin Speed 2: A good shoe, but the last curves too much for my foot. It pushes against my little toe and causes foot pain.
Hoka Rocket X: I got these on close out recently and it's too soon to evaluate. Externally, the Rocket X and the Vaporfly Next% 2 don't flex at all. All the flex must be in the cushion and the plate. The cushioned feel is slightly less in the Rocket X, but that's not a bad thing. After a workout, my feet felt fine. Again, it's too soon to say.
Bottom Line: I'd buy the Artist again. I'd buy the Vaporfly if I could get it on sale. Not sure about the Rocket X yet. I wouldn't buy either Saucony again, in spite of the glowing reviews they get from other runners.
Fat people usually have PF issues
I find the Adios Pro 3 far more comfy/forgiving in the forefoot than the Next%, especially at marathon distance. It has pretty even foam coverage heel to toe and a fairly modest drop by supershoe standards (6.5mm).
Loose is fast.
