I've had this issue off and on for years, mostly it's always been an issue. Every now and then I'll get relief but hard to pinpoint why, and it's usually brief. I've been a runner off and on for years though. I'll run 3 miles non stop no walking and do this 3 times a week. I'll do this for 3 months, then stop for 1-2 months, then do it for 3 months, then stop, then start, ect... Been like this for like 14 years now haha. I'm 32 now. In good shape, not much fat on me, look fit. I'm 5'9" male, 168lb currently. After my runs I always do calisthenic workouts. I'll do ab workouts, pullups, pushups, dips, things like that.
But for some reason, after about a mile into my run I'll always start getting lower back pain. My feet will start to hurt a bit. After the 2nd mile I'm in full blown pain. Lower back feels like it has knives being twisted into it. Feet and lower legs are completely numb and at the same time also get this horrible shooting pain, idk how to explain the combination. Been like this for years. Never really done anything about it, but I'm tired of it. It holds me back so much. I have to stop and sit down to make the pain and numbness go away nowadays.
One thing I'll note, it's not my shoes. I've bent over backwards trying and doing literally everything when it comes to that. I've gone to footwear specialists that specialize in running and have bought the best/expensive shoes multiple times and have had my feet scanned at these places to get the perfect fit and etc etc etc... Shoes are not the issue I'm almost positive. After years and years of trying different shoes and going to specialist running shoe stores, talking to the experts on this, this holds no merit at all when it comes to this pain I believe. I know this might seem like the most obvious issue, but it isn't related believe me I have gone through endless trouble and $ to figure out if it is a shoe problem or doing my laces too tight, soul issue, etc... Not the shoes!
I'm at a loss, idk what to do. What is wrong with me? Anyone have any ideas
