Capitol Police were badly outnumbered and woefully unprepared. No cop was going to sacrifice his own life in a blaze of glory that would have delayed a large group of rioters for about 15-30 seconds. With the elected representatives, staffers, and dignitaries vacated to secure locations, Capital cops essentially "led" people through the building in a controlled retreat. That's self-preservation and buying time for potential reinforcements to arrive. Just like when armed forces fall back and temporarily yield territory.
To gullible fools and folks with no understanding of combat/crowd control tactics, it looks like the Capital Police turned tour guides and accomplices. Are you implying that? Is there audio where an officer tells the crowd, "Whatevs, bro! Take what you want. Deface some stuff. Crap on Nancy's chair. I don't give a f**k!". Did Tucker also match that footage up with audio from police radios? What orders were given from on-scene commanders?
No deep fakes, but a lot of edited footage without context.
Nobody claimed Trumpers were smart. In fact, it has been proven over and over that they are dumb. None of that negates their actions. If they happen to turn on Trump that does not mean much of anything. Wouldn't you if he incited you into that legal and financial mess and did nothing for you?
It seems like the typical Letsrun Trumpers are buying into the Tucker Carlson spin of Jan 6th. Even after Tucker is revealed to have said he thinks they are idiots and he has no problem lying to them to make more money. He is still there source for Truth.
Life loser and man-child cosplayer gets out early for good behavior. With a federal felony conviction on his record, life loser will continue losing as his employment prospects are largely limited to blue collar warehouse and service work. He might not have been violent but, he was stupid and went out-of-his-way to be stupid in the most public way possible. He cannot escape a Google search conducted by human resources departments and potential dates for the rest of his sorry life.
50/50 chance that he goes back to prison after getting mixed up with unsavory characters because he didn't learn his lesson or because he was desperate to scratch out a living.
Hope you feel great that a severe schizophrenic man will have an even tougher life with an unjust criminal record.
I wonder how many BLM rioters got 41 months in prison for "tresspassing" the stores they looted? No wait I know the answer to that. Zero.

1. I am sad that Mr. Chansley was failed by our nation's lousy mental health system. The State of Arizona failed him. The US Navy failed him. The people that took advantage of his fragile state of mind to radicalize Jacob also failed him. He also knew of his diagnosis and having a mental health disorder does not fully excuse the individual from individual responsibility.
2. I have no love for local prosecutors that choose politics over enforcing the law. Anyone that trespasses, loots, commits arson, and engages in unlawful violence should be prosecuted. Your political and social views do not justify such behavior.

Didn’t he also throw Trump under the bus?
Weird rat.
Yes, he did blame it all on Trump. Roughly half of the Capitol riot defendants blame Trump to some extent. Trump fans need to be very carefully to check what each Capitol riot defendant said in court regarding Trump before they go off supporting the rioter.
This Shama guy Chansely was a total rat on Trump. He deserves no support. He will NOT be getting a pardon to say the least.

OK, this is about the dumbest rationale one could think of for the video of the Capital Police leading the 'insurrectionists' around the Capital. Try again.
